The Romans believed a vein ran from the ring finger to the heart — vena amoris, the vein of love. This ring is for someone who understands that the rarest combinations are made, not found.
The Stone
A 1.45 carat Colombian emerald — the most prized emeralds on earth, mined from the same Andean valleys that have produced the world's finest green stones for five hundred years. Colombian emeralds are distinguished by their warm, saturated green with a slight bluish undertone and their natural inclusions — called a “jardin,” French for garden — that are proof of origin, not a flaw. Set in the Empress setting and surrounded by an emerald pavé band: green all the way down.
The Metal
18k champagne gold — a warm, golden alloy with an antique depth that most jewelers never work with. It reads neither yellow nor rose but something older, richer, and rarer. Recycled and conflict-free. Cast and hand-finished in a Brooklyn studio.
The Setting
The Empress. Named for the one who rules in her own name. A crown silhouette that elevates the center stone and frames it with intention. The emerald pavé band means the entire piece speaks one language: green, deep, uncompromising.
The Details
One maker. One studio. No two alike.
