This one is 6mm — round, black, flat to the finger the way a rose cut sits — encircled by 23 black diamonds that frame it like a crown. Solid 18k gold. Built by hand in New York, the same way it would have been built three hundred years ago.

The Corona setting was designed for exactly this: stones that have presence before they have sparkle.
