The Romans believed a vein ran from the ring finger directly to the heart — vena amoris, the vein of love. Tesia Alexandra has built her work around that idea. The Boudica Morganite Necklace is for the person who understands that warmth is not softness. Morganite is a beryl. It is strong. It just happens to be peachy-pink.

The Stone
Morganite is a member of the beryl family — the same mineral as emerald, but colored by manganese into a range of peachy-pink tones that shift depending on the light source. This is not a pastel stone. In yellow gold, it deepens. The warmth of the metal answers the warmth of the stone and both become more than they would be alone. Morganite rates 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale — harder than most stones people wear daily.

The Metal
14k yellow gold. Recycled and conflict-free. Hand-finished in Brooklyn by one maker. Yellow gold was chosen because it does what the stone does — it warms without effort. Together they are unapologetically golden. The necklace comes with an 18 inch 14k gold chain, 1.6mm medium weight with a polished finish — substantial enough to wear alone, refined enough to layer.

The Setting
The Boudica setting was designed to hold a stone the way a queen wears a crown — with intention, not ornamentation. Open gallery. Clean lines. The stone is the subject.
